Thanks for visiting from 4 more countries.

   Since last time I mentioned about the visitor from Moldova, 4 more flags were added to the list.  These are Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Estonia and Ireland.

   I had a chance to visit Dacca, Bangladesh in 2003.  ICDDR,B, the great research institute specialized in diarrhea diseases in Dacca.

   Unfortunately, I haven't visited rest of these three countries.  But I bet I will some days.

たちごけついでに、、、

不覚にもたちごけてしまいました。それも公道で。幸い倒れ込んだ場所が民家の駐車スペースだったので、けがもなく自転車も無事でしたので、命を取られなかったことを神に感謝しなければなりません。感謝しなければなりませんが、なんとも惨めなものですね。

たちごけの現場が職場のすぐ近くでしたので、気づきませんでしたが、倒れた衝撃でサイクルコンピュータのセンサーが若干ずれてしまっていました。これが原因で数字がうまく表示されなくなってしまっていたので、Y‘sの新宿店で自転車をみてもらいました。

正確に申し上げますとセンサーがずれているというのは、Y’sの店員さんに指摘されて初めて知った事実で自分では全く知りませんでした。まあ、故障や破損ではなかったことはせめてもの救いでした。親切にしてくださったので、ついでに以前から買おうと思っていた、スペアのチューブ、サドルバッグ、ミニ工具、チューブレバーも一緒に購入しました。毎日のように店の前を通っても実際に立ち寄ることは滅多にありません。これでトライアスロンの準備も少しだけ進みました。あとはハンドルバーを購入し、設置すれば完了です。

San Francisco

   Although it was a very short trip, the review course was totally comprehensive and all the lecturers inspired me  a lot.  There was not enough time to see around the city, but jogging every morning showed me to see the city.
